Visiting Places - Shirdi, Nasik & Shegaon

After Durga Puja, on the day of Dashami, as we intended to go for outing for a 4 day long tour (ie. from 24-October to 28-October, 2012) which was from Nagpur to Shirdi Sai Baba temple, then to Nasik and then to Shegaon and back to Nagpur.

During that period we traveled Nagpur to Manmad (distance 618.8 km, time 8 hrs 53 min apprx), then 

Manmad to Shirdi Sai Nagar (distance 58.6 km, time 1 hr 19 min app. by road)

SAI BABA

from Shirdi to Shani Shingnapur and back (distance 74 km, 1 hr 15 mins appr by road)

Shirdi to Nasik (distance 83 kms, 1 hr 36 mins appr by road)

Nasik Darshan by Govt. Bus. From Bus depot at 10.30 am to 5.45 pm. They showed us near about 10 visiting places, which are..

    1. Pandav Leni / Dada Saheb Falke Stup/ Boudha Stup ........ too goood, next stop

    2. Bhakti Dham, next

    3. Kali Mata Mandir, next

    4. Panchabati (Kaleram, Gore Ram parn kutir), next
    5. Tapoban (Dandokaronnyo, Godabari River, Someshwar Mandir), next

    8. Trambakeshwar Mandir (Brohmmogiri Hill - Brohmmo, Bishnu, Maheswar), next

Bus Stop, Nasik, but we want to again. We were lucky that we had got Driver cum Guide for visiting of Nasik - Mr Arunbhai Trambakraj, we are grateful to him. 

from Nasik to Shegaon (distance 720 km, time 10 hrs, by train) 

at Shegaon visited the Holy Mandir of Shri Shri Gajanan Maharaj and Anand Sagar Garden ...... want to go again.....

from Shegaon to Nagpur back (distance 292 km, time 3 hrs 59 mins, by train).

We have enjoyed the tour very very much, but during that short period we should have to visit one or two place at a time, then we can see all the places very well. Maharastra is a place where you should have to visit  all the renowned places to know our India, our people better. 

However, it is a great experience and we all are fond of visiting of new places.
